More than likely, your older drivers weren't completely installed. Uninstall all your drivers. Run Driver Cleaner 3 (you can get it from Driverheaven.net). Re-install your selected drivers. See if this clears it up.

Where do you get the Powerplay app? I can't seem to locate it anywhere on my system (running Cat 4.9b drivers).

4750 is a hair lighter than the 8790. Also has slightly better battery life.

The end result is the same, if that's what you're asking (or so I've been told).

BTW, 4750 drivers are now available on Sager's website - http://www.sagernotebook.com/pages/tech_sfwrdls.html#1 Not sure exactly how different these are from the base installs. I would guess that they're the stock drivers we all...
