The 8790 is a couple pounds lighter. The native resolution of the 8890 is 1600x1200, which is too straining for me in most Windows apps. The 8790 is 1400x900, which is comfortably similar to my preferred 1280x1024.

What Color is the 8790? Hypersonic says the default color is Navy Blue. The pictures from Sager appear black. I emailed Clevo directly, hoping to get a white/silver combo. No luck so far.
