Well, 2 things: 1. my panel looks perfect. I tried to find a flaw in it, other than 1 dead pixel (always on in green color), but its perfect. 2. I can't get mobile meter to show anything but the HDD temp as well.

Right, and as I specified above, "PS-No, my computer does not automatically read temps, I am not INSANE." I have tried mobilemeter and speedfan, etc but nothing works, which means I do not have temp probes installed.

I am thinking about putting some thermocouples, like one or two around the CPU/heatsink for a rough surface temp, one around/on the GPU, and maybe one by the HDD or outlet fan holes or whatever, and trying to wire them to a PCMCIA card,...
