Go to display properties -> appearance tab -> effects -> tick use the following method to smooth edges of screen font with cleartype selected

Haha I know what you mean. I bought my notebook to 'encourage' me to work more rather than play more..but the past week..I've been gaming non-stop.

No problem with Far Cry, Painkiller and Max Payne 2 thus far.
