I got this working the other day (by using my laptop to connect to my wireless router, then bridging my wireless connection to my ethernet port on the laptop). Once I set my wireless connection to shared access it worked like a charm....
I tried taping my SD cards in the non-lock position, exchanged my last card for a new one, they all have the same problem. I downloaded and installed drivers for the card reader from Acer europe and I've searched everywhere for programs...
Tonight I exchanged the card for another one; the new one has the exact same problem (Laptop keeps saying it's write protected). It's likely the reader at this point; could it be a problem with the driver?
I've now tried the scotch tape method of holding the lock switch in place and also tried the card in the Nintendo Wii; when the lock is activated it won't write to the card, when it's not it writes to it just fine. In My Computer I can...
