Asus Z71v, replaced the LCD with a new samsung LCD so now doing 1920x1200 damn it is tight...
I think 7200RPM is the fastest for the notebook, unless you get one that uses SSD heehh

I believe the max you can with the centrino chipset is 2x1GB DDR2-533.... I was thinking of the exact same thing. WinXP can't take on large ram anyhow. I got windows Vista running on it smoothly. Sadly my Z71v been acting wierd...
