Any idea whether I can put an Intel 4965 or a Dell 1505 wireless card into a Latitude D810 or a Precision M70?
Basically, I'm looking for an internal Draft N card in the D810 or M70.
Which brand/model of Draft N routers play nice with the above?
Thx; any idea whether the card will physically fit in an M70/Latitude D810?
I'm a bit confused about the miniPCI cards & the "miniPCI-E" cards.
If you're uncertain, exact dimensions of your card would help, so I'll compare the physical size & connector pins to my TrueMobile 1450.
Is the Draft N Mini PCI card available with the Inspiron 1501? Got a part # from your build sheet Bossman?
I'm assuming this is the standard Mini PCI card form factor...also, BossMan, could you verify how many snap in antenna connectors this card has?
Dazog - got a part # and/or a vendor for the Atheros N Mini PCI card? Also, info about antenna connectors etc. would be great.
Vista compatible, either of the above two cards?
Howdy Stu...long time...yeah I figured the optical drive itself is the usual standard slimline OEM type...however, I noticed that the 1501 has a "fixed" drive...probably just a securing screw...as I already have an M70, with a 1510 on the way, I suppose I could swap faceplates, thereby swapping the 6500 on the M70 with the 6650 from the 1510 (I'm assuming the newer 6650 from the 1510 is more desirable than the 'older' 6500 on my M70...).
The Vista key is built into the Dell CD? Weird, that would make it possible to install Vista on several Dell machines with the same CD/DVD. How the heck would Microsoft keep track of multiple activations from the same CD/DVD?
