NVidia drivers are doing this. right click on properties, go to resolutio tab, advanced, and find video settings...it's like video overlay or something.
Are you trying to use it as the boot device and it won't recognize it, or are you using your primary drive, partitioned, as your boot device and it won't recognize it as a secondary drive? Also what is it formatted (fat / ntfs etc)
Ubuntu 6.06 on my XPS M170. Full resolution, no problems with wifi, etc. Be extra careful on the partitions and read read read but it was all up and running after i got the ISO burned in like 30 minutes.
