i've done a lot of bios flashing before but this time i got lazy and didnt double checked the rom file after burning it to the CD and end up bricking my 7900 this time. now the laptop just dont boot at all. blind flashing doesnt work...

my new 8920 had the same clicking sound. didnt bother to check if its the harddisk or not since there is also a problem with the LCD making a high pitch sound when running on battery and eventually the LCD would go blank on boot when...

i found out that the bsod only happen with drivers that show the memory clock like 1.6ghz rather than 800mhz. drivers tat shows the clock the old ways have no bsod. maybe its the new driver not liking the overclocking so i used rivatuner...

best bet is ur driver. for sme reason after i flashed to gtx i get bsod when installing any drive 93.xx or 97.xx i get bsod. so try some other driver that ppl recommand. mine is working fine with the 92.xx drivers
