what questions do you have about the G2, i have one here which i purchased from abs and maybe i can help. For the record, I had no problems what so ever with abs, but i just had a simple order, nothing complex.

Was it slow after installing sp2, for some reason on my laptop (mitac 8050) after installing sp2 my pc in much slower, try uninstalling sp2 and see if that helps. Thats only if your pc became slow after the sp2 install.

I own a G2 and its a fantastic laptop, for most normal apps I can get around 3-3.5 hours on the batt, but that with speedswitch xp. As far as the screen, its great, its so clear and it looks great, granted I can use a little more space...

Dont worry I have a G2 also with the 735 and speedswitch Xp also says its a banias, however in everyother test and program and even on the startup, it says I have 2mb L2 cache. I wouldnt worry at all, ABS should have given you the intel...

what does the tweaking programs really do? Is it worth fooling around with it? Does it really make a difference?

what else do you have running? do you have an anti virus running which takes 100 percent of all your resources(cough norton) do you have a virus you might not know about...hmm there is a program called kill all or something like that...
