Hey Guerrilla, you and I got our machines around the sametime, so I'm sure I probably have the same BIOS as you. I'm a bit stranged out though as my machine supports the Core 2 Duo with the stock BIOS thats on it, and runs fine. No beeps...

Deffintly not needed for a dual core proc. For mulitple processors, then yes, pro is needed. Here's proof too

Looks like it might have been a bug. I use the newist version of Firefox and I can see your first page without any issues right now using the new and old site designs. Might have been a small bug for the time being.
