Sounds like overheating to me, I could be wrong, but you might want to start there.

Its possible with a bios update, this can be obtained from asus.com, upgrade the bios and merom is working ^_^.

Ive had the problem with my Z92t, and I have no idea what it is, but exactly what youre talking about, now, the only thing that these two have in common really is the GPU, so Im guessing that may be it. other than that, i have no idea
