Yea I was planning on making an image of the way my system sits now with a few basic programs that I want and all of the settings how I like them. Do you know of any freeware that would allow me to make an image and a boot disk?
Well I just called customer support to check on this. They are telling me something I'm having a hard time believing. They are telling me there isn't any way to get the respawn kit. So they will refund me my money and there is no way to get a respawn kit. They are custom burned after the computer is built. My BS flag goes up on this..........any thoughts? Better yet anyone with a 5550, with the 7600, xp home, and 1 gig of ram want to burn me a copy? I'll can paypal a few...

1. Nero Express (white)
2. XP-Home system recover cd
3. Alienware m550i- r3 series support cd
I was expecting a DVD with an image of the factory configuration and I'm not sure that number three is it. I believe it's just a driver CD. Can anyone verify this?
Well they didn't seem to want to do anything about it as far replacing it with cas 4 because of known problems, which is fine. I don't want an unstable system. But, as hammerhead said, I paid for cas 4, if I don't have it they should compensate me. I'll be calling them back soon to figure out what is going on.
Well this laptop is great but I want to check with a few other owners on something.
Senario: I ordered my laptop with the 1 gig of RAM due to the fact that they were offering CAS 4 ram. I couldn't find any 667MHz DDR2 notebook ram of this speed so I decided to bite the bullet and spend the $150 on the upgrade, rather than spend about $175 on new egg for 2 gig of CAS 5.
Now after I have recieved this laptop, I start doing some benchmarks and everything is...
