Thanks, although I just tried it and the lower box that the login is supposed to fit into is either a bit too small or too high. How do you edit the image file within the EXE file? I could do it myself but I'm not sure how the exe is...

Could anyone make a 1200x800 DOD login for my new 5550?

It arrived Saturday at 5:30!!! So far so good, it's a sweet set up!

The thing is they still advertise $100 of instant savings but it's not really. The price they are selling it for now would be the bese price I paid before my $200 of instant savings. I paid 899 base, ened up to about 1600 shipped once...

Wow, I just checked out the 5550 prices and they have jumped up since the end of august! My base price was about 899 on the 28th, now they are starting at 1099. Although they now offer the higer res screen. So is this the normal...

Wow I guess I must have been very close to being back ordered. If it makes you feel any better a good friend of mine ordred the 5550 with the ATI 128mb card and the base processor within hours of me and his hasn't shipped yet either. ...

I went from 5 to shipped in one afternoon. I never saw phase 2,6, 7, or 8. Just 1,3,4,5,9,10. I ordered a 5550 on 8/28 and it shipped on 9/12, the predicted date. I was VERY surprized to say the least.

I hope that JBL model sounds better than the model a friend of mine has. His lack crisp bass and mid range, and have tinny sounding highs.

Just got an e-mail that it shipped.....phase 5 to shipped in one day. didn't expect that. Looks like their prediction for the 9/12 shipping date is right, although it won't actually ship until tomorrow.
