Yes, the C2D is supposed to use less battery. I had a Toshiba before I got my Alienware, and I've never had a problem with it.
I got mine when the base price was 849. The next week, they raised it to 949, so I guess I got lucky.

I love my sentia m3450. It probably won't play most games, I only play WoW on it.

It can play WoW, and AOE:III runs alright on mine. I recommend getting an Area -51 m5550 if you want to play games and still have mobility.
Ok. I have the free home edition, and I can't find a way to disabe a core with it.
