Well, just placed my order for this monster. No one posted back about Farcry results so if anyone else wants to know, make the request and hopefully I can get an answer out in about three weeks. (Darned Military postal system)

To those of you playing Farcry: What FPS are you getting and at what settings? I'm concerned that the FX 5700Go can't keep up. By settings I want resolution and high, medium or low in game settings. If it's playable then I'll order...

No settings in BIOS that affect IRQ or DMA can be changed. Anyway, reinstalled XP fresh and had the same problem so I got a new motherboard (875 chipset) and all is well again. Now if only the cd drive would read the drivers...
