Hey guys, I just bought a used Latitude X300 and it came pretty scratched up. Is there a way to redo it so that it looks better or not so scratched? Anywhere to get replacement panels or chassis for cheap. I don't have much money at all...
I don't think that the aesthetics are that bad for the laptop. It's a little bit over the edge but a person can still deal with it. lol
You should also vacuum the vents every now and then because every time that I do which is like three time a year, A big wad of dust always comes out and the temperatures seem to drop about 5C every time.

Thanks guy I can turn it on from Standby, but a question about Standby though, the memory is still powered on in this mode. Does this affect the life of the memory at all? Or any of the other components that must be left on during Standby?
