Hmmm that's what I was afraid of - the SXGA+ 1400x1050 being too many pixels for a 14" screen. I really liked 1400x1050 on a 15" Toshiba (model no longer available) - small fonts but extremely sharp, and easier on the eyes...
Scarriec - how is the SXGA+ 14" display? I had a 15" SXGA+ and it was great but I need to buy another laptop. Also does the 600m seem to get hot or make much fan noise?
If you have a hardware router box like a Linksys connecting to the Internet you can plug both computers into it and set up a network using the facilities and wizards in Windows XP.
That post and thread about the 700m on the official Dell forum was deleted - so I'd think it was legit, from a Dell employee or consultant. The plot thickens. The 600m and 5150 are candidates for myself but I would be using all 2 USB...

Anyone got the Dell 100 GB 4200 rpm drive? It has the big cache (8 MB) unlike most other 4200 drives that have only 2 MB.
Hmmm very very interesting - I was thinkin about getting a 5150. Well I'm cancelling that idea! I hate buying something the day before the new version comes out! Also the mention of a 700m must refer to another new Inspiron - maybe...
