alright i figured it out!! I installed Parallels beta 2 (free download) and this worked perfectly and I was able to use my existing XP install in OS X. Tried reinstalling drivers, no go. BUT, then i tried installing service pack 2 and...

i thought home was supposed to work? my product key for Pro keeps saying it's been used too many times so I only have Home to work with for now... any other ideas?

I just installed windows xp on my new macbook. Everything went fine, except that when I go to install the driver CD I made with bootcamp, I get an error (fatal error 1603). I figured this was because I hadnt installed Service pack 2 yet....
