It should run fairly well, I was at a recent Flight Sim convention where Microsoft was using M1710s as well as desktops to show off FSX. The M1710 sure holds its own. That being said FS2004 with maxed settings and every imagineable...

The ACES reps for Flight Sim have admitted the current code hasn't been optimized to use dual core to it's fullest. They are looking at a patch for performance issues, but I can't imagine it will change the dual core issue.

I've decided to find a replacement LCD for my Area51m2 (766) making it portable once again. Can anyone recommend a good source for a 15.4" wsxga+ lcd?

Want to give my Alienware a second chance at being a laptop. If anyone has a 15.4" WSXA+ they have no use for let me know. I'll also entertain a 16.1" if it comes with the lcd plastics.
