Started using the Omega drivers. Video still freaks out after playing awhile. BTW: I am playing BF2 most of the time. It is warm here, so I am sure that my lptop isn't happy. maybe I'll put a fan on it!

Thanks, I'll give that a go. I do notice, that I seem to be having some issues with those drivers though. My colors freak out once in awhile. Which never happened with the modded ones. I may go back the mods.

Downloaded the new ATI Mobility drivers 5.7 I think. Do you think these are better than the modded ones here? I am playing BF2, and am not sure if my drivers are freaking my graphics out, or if I am overheating my vid. I was thinking...

I tried downloading the new catalyst drivers from ATI, and they wouldn't install. Something to the effect that "no supported hardware". Sager has not updated there drivers since '04. Where and how can I get up to date...

I've loaded sp2 twice on my 4780-V and both times it won't come out of standby mode. I have to hard reset it. But, I also can't seem to fix a USB issue with SP1 when coming out of standby mode. And people pay me to fix there...

I was looking at Snapstream earlier and was wondering if is compatable with the 4780. That's when I found your post. Did you ever get this resolved?
