hmm okay maybe i should be more descriptive to get help... im using s-video and in the nvidia control panel its detected my tv as HDTV but its not HD its just a normal tv

ive got a 9400 inspiron, and have it connected to my external tv, im trying to get my laptop screen to go on that tv so i can watch a movie, i press FN+F8 [crt/lcd] but it goes black then back to normal desktop on laptop... im using...

thats all I had to do when i put a 6800 ultra.. oh and u may need to snap the little plastic bit in top left hand corner for the heat sink to fit in, u'll see what i mean when u try put it in
