I see that my MD installation does not have the hibernate function enabled any idea why ??

I got this installed but for some reason I cannot exit out of MD 2.0 by pressing the exit button. I'm having to press the power button to shut down the laptop. Have I missed something, I followed pugsly's new instructions.
