Had the same problem,my fault, wasn't running any sort of anti Virus. Downloaded and installed AVAST. Fixed the problem right away.

I installed the new Bios,however my systems seem's to be hotter then normal,and my fans don't kick in. I loaded I8kfanGUI so I can access the fan. Any reason this is happening. I had no heat or fan issue's prior to the new Bios...

rob2160, i Went out to Walmart and bought a set of TV Trays with the stand. It works perfect. I just don't use the stand part. Try that out. It sit on your lap just fine,no heat issues and it has the right clearance. Cheers
