I know how you feel chris....ive been having the same problem, at first my sentia used to turn its fan on after about 4 minutes of being on, alot of the time only at 35 degrees( now its more like 11 mins since im usually coming inside...

thats exactly it, it turns on no matter what after 5 mins, which makes it very hard for me to watch a movie all together, and no they are not anal, it really is quite anoying. im not to sure how to work speed fan or NHC to slow my fan....

got a sentia m3450 core 2 duo here and ive been having some fan hyperactivity problems some others have been experiencing, so i figure maybe i could turn off a core when doing lite work so i dont piss of the people in front of me in...
