Apple uses the same AR5008 as lenovo in there laptop's.
But now they ship broadcom also.
I think its hit or miss when you order as to what you will receive.
Considering Atheros announced another chipset the ar5008 will disappear...

That new Linksys is Ralink, I downloaded the GPL linux code and its Ralink
the dir-855 and that gaming router will be Atheros, unless they changed designs, But the bigger question is are they using the new 900x series Atheros chipset...
