yeah, so i got my replacement on the exact day that Dell said i would.. exactly 6 days after the order was put in, new system is in Sig, old one was a Gen2 with 2.13GHz 1GB Ram and 6800Ultra

Yep it does work with the XPS Gen 2. dont download Quickset from the XPS Gen2 sction, download it from the M1710 section

The bottom of the screen is also where the backlight is so that will be producing a good/bad amount of heat as well

when you go into media player you need to set the visualiser as XPS Lights FX and then the lights will change in time to the music!!
