Does the same thing apply even if you buy a full version and not the upgrade? Further more, what if you change a lot of your hardware over time... New mobo, no video card, etc, etc... What if you just like to format and reinstall a lot?

What did someone say above? Upgrades can only work once? If I go and buy a Vista disk from the store, can I use it to install it on my computer, my laptop and my Mom's computer or will it somehow consider that pirating?

www.dell.ca now has Vista on all of their notebooks and although I only looked through a few models (XPS1710, 6400, etc), XP was NOT available at all. VISTA ONLY!
