Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the beep that the program makes when it connects or has a problem or does almost anything but sit idle. I HATE the program but my campus requires it to connect to the campus wireless network....

Check out the ASUS Z96J its a 15.4" wide screen 1680x1050 so you get more desktop space. I use the computer for gaming and 3d modeling (solidworks). You can get one fully loaded for around $1700. Just another option.

Asus Z96Js Loaded the computer is under $1800 USD. WSXGA, Duo 2, 15.4" screen. The only thing it doesn't have is DVI out.

I run 50+/- on mine. I was just wondering the same thing. The computers new so I a not sure how hot it should run.
