Clean out the dust from the CPU heatsink, Memory area, and Video Card.
I also don't mean simply spraying compressed air in the vents, you'll likely have to remove the said heatsinks and dust from there.

I dont think I'd quite classify it as a jump from 7700-7900... more like the jump from 7600-7700. I'm goong against the grain probably by recommending buyers to pick up the G1p now while they are still factory fresh and discounted....
