I get a sound from the HDD, I think it's when it's going into standby, but it's more of a 'ping' sound. I've had four of these laptops and three of them made this sound. All of them worked fine though.

I have three partitions in total (no HPA)
Partition 1 is FAT 16 containing Diags.
Partition 2 is NTFS containing Windows
Partition 3 is NTFS containing MediaDirect
