can anyone please post temperature differences?

have same drive... apparently toshiba released a firmware to fix this problem.. it didnt help me though as it turns out that my drive needed a replacement.. so first try the firmware and if it doesnt work, then give it in for service..

whats the advantage fo using these vid drivers modded for laptops over forceinstalling desktop drivers on ur laptop??

i think i had a desktop version of the geforce 4 440 and doom3 didnt run too well on it with low settings.... got a average fps of 15 ... which wasnt very nice.... My laptop has a geforce 4 460 go and i think it runs games like far...

software...software is fairly accurate... give or take 3-4 degrees ... anyhow, the reduction in temperature shoudnt change with a software or gauge..

dont get the antec... i spent 40 usd on it and my temps reduced by 1-2 degrees celcius only.
