try the auto adjust on the lcd... then check your laptop settings again... i had the same problem... after i did an autoadjust it was fixed.

oh so it's only the quickcam software that causes the problem? if i only install the quickcam drivers it is okay?

After I install Alcohol 120 on my m1210 it begins to hang on boot up. It gets to the point of showing Windows and the scrolling status bar... But after that the screen goes blank and nothing happens. I have to shutdown by holding down...

i just booted from a windows xp cd. deleted the main partition and recovery partition. created new C and D partitions. installed onto C. i did not touch the utility partition. i don't know what would happen if you deleted it. but...
