I believe Hitachi is already sending their 100GB 7200rpm 2.5 HDDs to the resselers. Seagate is following closely too. Also, Seagate has a 120GB 5400rpm 2.5 HDD that shall be available pretty soon. just check the manufacturers website.

Ok. PC user here. Never owned a MAC and rarely used one (once I think). I have a question regarding the operating system: If I buy an iBook or a PowerBook here in Portugal will it be loaded up with a Portuguese OS? Coz I hate that, lol....

Yeah, those were lame questions, but sometimes we thing everything is OK when it's not... Anyway, that seems a mistery coz I have no problems with my Acer and haven't heard such. It is only down to the CD being bootable and the selection...

Update its Firmware to the latest version. Also, you can get antennae for it.

Are you sure the CD is bootable? Try in another computer. Also, double check you have changed the primary boot to DVD/CD-ROM and SAVE to CMOS at the end.

1410 series that is... And u can go with the 100GB version. I doubt there is any BIOS lock. It's down to the southbridge (IDE chipset if not integrated).

Yeah, found it last night. Acer should post that site on the READ ME file that goes along with the BIOS file itself... Thx anyway.
