I have called AW sales twice talking to 2 different people. They both said that both of the screen options available are glossy. They also said that silver was the only color they had "at this time".

It may have the same screen as the m5550 WUXGA option. It's not glossy at all.

You can put a second SSD in it.

Do you have anything plugged into any of your USB ports when booting? If so, unplug them and try a reboot.
