Tried using Ghost from the CD but it wouldn't boot to the Ghost menu ... kept hanging. Bought Acronis True Image 9.0 and built my bootable CD and now everything works. Can backup and restore to/from USB hard drives. So long, Norton!

While waiting for this lappy to arrive (i'm soooo stoked!) , i have a question for anyone using Ghost 2003 on the m5550. Do the Ghost USB drivers work for external USB HDD's? I want to Ghost off my backups to an external USB Seagate...

Subject should read 5550 instead of 5500.

1) Is the BIOS on this lappy capable of booting from a USB 2.0 HDD? 2) boot from USB stick? 3) Who makes the BIOS?
