Anything lower than 1920x1280 will not use the entire screen. My friend was playing HL2 and paused it then closed the lid. That is what caused the problem. Any ideas how to fix it?? If i change the res in windows now it wont...

no i didnt mess with the model checks, couldnt figure out how, for sure to do that yet?? then you dont have to change teh dimm/gpu either you say??? How does the model check work, i couldnt find where it was doing that yesterday...
hmm, not sure of hand on the tray thing, where i changed it was in the function that retrieves the speed, so its odd that it wouldnt fix it in both places. I will look into it some more. I dunno bout the fan thing, I didnt change...

I have been working on the fan speed thing. I think the multiply by 30 is done in the fanio driver, but i found for the i8500 it divides it by 30 in the program. So i think taking the "if" that tests if its an 8500 would...
