It could be the WiFi card but I highly doubt it.
Out of the couple hundred of these models that I had to repair with the same issue, only 1-2 of the systems had actual bad wifi cards.
The rest were motherboard related problems...
Removal of that screen is very easy.
There are plastic rubber screw covers on the front of the screen.
Remove those to expose to phillips screw and then remove them.
After that the front lcd bezel is ready for removal.
