It appears to be not as smooth when reporting 30fps but I'm not sure if that's psychological since it's reporting half the fps. Hence the reason for asking if it's really running at 30 (and why)

With Half Life 2 I typically get a fair amount of tearing (nice problem to have having frames well in excess of 60 !)

Can you expand on 'usually'? Does this mean that you can have the bios option as RAID but still actually have the disks operating seperately, e.g. not set-up as RAID0 or 1?

I've just taken receipt of a D900T (from a UK supplier). The machine was shipped with 2 60gb disks. I'd asked for no raid.
When I go into Explorer I can only see one 60gb disk.
