Not sure, but Dell paid for the repair, and that is what they replaced. The carrier came by with a special box for the computer, and I got the computer back in three days from the day of pickup.
My last guess is to uninstall all bluetooth drivers including the vista profile pack. Uninstall all bluetooth hardware related stuff from using the device manager. Shut down the computer. Remove the BT 360 module. Restart the computer...
