I just purchased a Lenovo T61 from Lenovo Canada and did not add an extended warranty. I do have the 1 year base warranty. I was wondering if I would be able to add a extended warranty from Lenovo anytime before the base warranty expires?

Is there software/drivers out there yet for D620's to make the fingerprint reader work with Windows Vista yet? Does anyone know? Thanks.

Is it possible to buy a third party drive, and mount it into the dell bay holder and have it work in my D620? If so what type of drive and form factor will would I be looking for? Thanks

I just wiped everything on my D620 and was wondering how do I go about finind out what monitor/display I have so I can install the proper driver for it. Thanks!

I don't know if this has been posted already, but I remember my 8600 had the same problem it was fixed by going in an disabling 1 of the 2 generic USB hubs under device manager. It fixed the problem for me

I finally have it working also, disable the TPM chip, cleared it, un-installed, then re-installed the software, then enabled the TMP chip in the bios. Thanks guys

It can be downloaded off of the dell website under "Chipset" then Broadcom Trusted Platform Module v1.2 Tried it also, no luck

I'm still getting no where with it, no luck at all
