Asus does not handle warranty complaints itself... They require you to go through your reseller.. The extended warranties that some vendors sell and state that ASUS handles it is wrong... It still MUST go back to the reseller... I will...

FYI on the global warranties...they are for their branded notebooks which except for the W1 and S5ne... are not available in the United States. Maybe i said something a little wrong earlier... Asus will talk to you but for repairs...

The truth is that they want you to handle these things with your reseller They do not like to deal with the end user and many times will refuse to. That is why i suggest you buy from a consumer friendly site like ProPortable

i don't have a problem with bringing the system around with me everyday... I end up walking accross campus (LSU) and at no point do i get tired of bringing it around with me... Giggsy I think you would be fine :-)

bottom center is where the ram is.... and all i have is two air intakes.... bottom and top left of keyboard the is none on the back.... the top right side is the exhaust opening....
