True True... Most people buy laptops to take them around or just set them on the table... Where as people at work... walk in, stick their laptop on the dock, and mouse, keyboard...etc are ready to roll rather than pluggin in all...

If you turn everything off, NIC, LEDS, WIRELESS, and only have one of the two SLI cards on.... This thing last pretty long. Just the same as the m1710 Its sweet how they let you turn off one card, not only does battery life go up, but...
I would say its the same. My friend has the same keyboard as a matter of fact and I just compared the two. haha This is a well built computer. I especially like how tight the lcd screen is! It doesnt wobble at all. Very nice! Prog
