Arctic Silver is under the 'nice to have but not necessary for most people' category. The thermal interface material that comes stock will work just fine, but AS might help.

The AX6 is based on the Mitac 8355 if I recall correctly. The 8355 is know for it's bad sounding speakers, so it's not just you. Maybe you should invest in a good pair of headphones...

I doubt any manufacturer will want to deal with the space and thermal issues of a dual-cpu 'laptop'. It would certainly be neat though!
