try pressing fn + f11 when u boot the computer (when u see the dell logo)
maybe you have a rescue partition.
if you have a rescue partition it "resets" the computer back to the state it was when u got it
from the factory.
got the screen replaced today.
and i have to say that the AUO screen i way better than the LCD58E.
the coulors are better and the weiving angle is a little bit better.
I took the m1210 with me to my local computer store today
ok dell shoud have replaced my screen today but,
i got a call today that they is not going to replace it today,
but a smal question to all the ppl out there with the LCD58E3 screen.

i ordered my system 31.10.06
with the camera option
and have the LCD58E3 screen.
called dell today and complained (too bad coulors (im doing a lot of photo shop work))
and demanded that they replaced it with the AUO screen.
