For that matter, how many of you actually open your notebook to 180 degrees? I have only once and that was while cleaning the lcd screen, but it wasn't necessary to do so.
And I've tried to actually LIKE Dell laptops, but I can't bring myself to do so. I looked at the M2010, but I hear all sorts of bad things about it as well. This dude don't gotta get a Dell EVER!

Absolutely correct. 5,400 is the bare recommended for a notebook running MCE if you're going to record television, but if you really want to edit, get the fastest you can get. I've even used and external drive spinning at 7,200 rpm...
