Also, with Dells, make sure you get the lowest possible memory, and then buy some extra memory from NewEgg or something. Dell's prices on memory are ridiculousy high. Dave
You might be willing to pay the extra for the XPS2, since the 6800 ultra is a good bit better than the plain 6800. It all depends on how much gaming you do, and how long into the future you want it to be able to handle the top-rung...
I did upgrade to the 76.50 drivers, though, from www.laptopvideo2go.com They supposedly add about 300 3DMark05 points, though I haven't tested mine. They probably helped a little with frame rates. Dave
Doom3 runs fine, 30-60 fps, with 4x AA on. So, yes, I would say reasonable frame rates. Dave
