I have an Inspiron 9300 here. Asking $1100 shipped, somewhat negotiable. Any trades would have to be either a 9400 with a Core Duo or a 12-14" machine with a Core Duo... I would probably rather sell it, unless you have a Sony...
I'd be interested if they gave it a real graphics card, like a 7600. It's a friggin XPS, they need to make the smaller versions almost as good as the big one.
Using a PDA on acid is no fun. You get distracted too easy.
Where's a good place to sell my 9300? I know of the forums here, and there's ebay (kind of). I've never sold anything on ebay before though I have bought a couple of items here and there and have 100% feedback with like 8 or 9...
that's why I added "still usable" ... I like a keyboard I can still type on.
One of the Sonys. SZ series I guess they are calling them now. Tiny notebook for a 13.3" display that's absolutely gorgeous. There are smaller notebooks now (11.1" WXGA) that sony makes as well that are still usable.
I use Zoom Player. You need a DVD codec to use it, but it doesn't have the same tearing MPC has.
What type of memory you get really doesn't matter, it all runs at the exact same timings on these Dell notebooks.
Unless I'm having a total brain fart, SATA mobile drives use the same notebook drive connector as the ATA ones, and I'm fairly sure both work in the 9300.
I don't htink NHC supports 17x as a max multiplier for dynamic control. What I did was set the voltages for 6x, 16x, and 17x as I needed for stable operation, and leave it on dynamic. When I wanted the speed I'd just click the use...
