Cool keen to hear the results. Is there anywhere you can monitor the CPU Temp? I've installed the NVTweak and NVTray so I can monitor my GPU temp, but it would be good to also monitor CPU temps.

Yeah you are probably right, I don't plan to upgrade for a while tho so hopefully the prices will come down. Must admit though I'm a sucker for maxing out hardware.

Pics would be good, I'm planning to do this on my C1Z and I can imagine the process will be fairly similar. Did you have to make any software alterations? Has there been any change in heat/fan operation?

I would say so, to be honest even running Half Life 2 at full screen res, all graphics options enabled the fan isnt intrusive, its a very quiet cooling system overall IMO.

Sorry my bad, I had only just finished playing some half life when I posted that I've just turned it on for the first time today, surfed for about 30 mins and no fan so far

Hi Cifroes, the fan is on when surfing, but is almost inaudible, the harddrive is also very quiet. Music quality is also very good through headphones, I've yet to try it through my home stereo though.

Could well be, I shall whip the covers off over the weekend and have a proper look. Very impressed with the graphics on it, was playing halflife last night and it looks to better quality than my desktop with a radeon 9600...
