It's probably cheaper to sell your old 8790 on ebay and get a new 8790. 700$ is a bit steep for replacing the monitor.

Interesting. I wonder though if when the 8790 comes out with the new screen if it will be just as glossy though. I guess it all depends on the setting you are using it in.

Send a PM to Flashram and ask about his ZD7000 with the Go5700. His benchmarks aren't far off from the ATI and he did mention that the 5700 has better power saving utilities.
